RA Power Solutions successfully carried out the Onsite Repair of Yanmar 6N18AL-DV Crankshaft at Chittagong Port, Bangladesh. After receiving an urgent request from the vessel owner, our technicians quickly reached the site with portable crankshaft grinding equipment. Detailed inspection revealed excessive wear and ovality on the crankpins. Using specially developed onsite machining tools, all crankpins were repaired and restored to the required dimensions. The engine was reassembled with undersize bearings and put back into operation, helping the vessel resume service with minimum downtime.
